Hello! My name is Carrie Rice, and I am a pet sitter in the Huntsville/Madison County, Alabama area!

I specialize in cat sitting because I have lots of experience caring for cats, and I understand their specific needs. Some may even call me a cat whisperer.

My clients are mainly located in the city of Huntsville, but my service areas also include New Hope, Owens Cross Roads, & Hampton Cove. I may be willing to venture out a bit further for an additional fuel fee!

I currently have three kitties at my home out in Madison County. Two are indoor family pets, and one is a semi-feral outdoor adventure kitty. I also volunteer as the social media manager for Cattyshack, Inc., a local cat lounge at Lowe Mill A&E in Huntsville, AL. You may see me there from time to time crawling around on the floor with my camera!

I also have an art studio at Lowe Mill. I'm usually there from noon to 6 pm, Wednesday through Saturday. I'm in studio 327 (Moon Maiden Arts) if you'd like to stop by and meet me before hiring me, or allowing me into your home. I can also provide pet sitting references if you'd like to know more about me as a sitter! I'm happy to answer any questions you may have as well. 

I tend to focus on cats because I have more experience with them, and I feel there is a need for in-home cat care. However, I am open to sitting small and medium sized dogs as well. I don't have as much experience with them, but I do love all animals and want them to have the best care possible!  I am not able to handle larger breeds however, due to health constraints. 

I also have some experience with small pets in cages or tanks. I've taken care of everything from chinchillas to crabs!
